I - General terms
I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason.
Prices are subject to change based on demand.
All communication about the commission will be done via email.
II - Payment and fees
Payment is done through PayPal invoice using USD.
Commissions can be paid either 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% after completion.
Do not send me any payment before I have agreed to offer you a commission slot and request for payment myself.
A design fee will be charged for clients with no reference images and would like for me to draw solely based on description.
A rush fee will be charged for tight deadlines.
Additional fees will be charged for excessive or major revisions.
III - Process and Delivery
The time it takes to complete a commission may vary between 1 week to 3 months; depending on factors such as health, availability, work, and the complexity of the commissioned piece.
After receiving the payment, I will send a sketch for approval before continuing the commission. Sketch and subsequent in-progress shots will initially be sent as low-res, watermarked images.
Updates will be sent at checkpoint stages (finished sketch, finished linework, finished flat color, etc) or upon request by the client.
After the client approves of the finished piece, a final high-resolution image will be sent after the commission is fully paid. Images are always sent as 300 DPI PNGs unless another resolution/file type is requested.
IV - Revisions
During the sketch phase: one major revision and multiple minor revisions are covered in the commission price.
During the coloring phase: 3-4 minor revisions are covered in the commission price.
Revisions due to my own negligence are free.
Major changes after the sketch phase will result in an additional fee.
It is up to my discretion as to what constitutes minor and major revisions.
Absolutely no revisions will be made after the piece is finished and approved.
V - Copyright & Usage Policy
I, Lesslinette, the artist:
I retain the rights over any commissioned works.
I reserve the right to post the commissioned work on my social media.
I reserve the right to stream, record, and upload videos of the creation of the artwork.
I will not claim the intellectual property (IP) portrayed in the commissioned artwork as mine (your characters are still yours).
You, the customer, are allowed to:
Upload the commissioned piece to any social media, with credit to me visible.
Print the work for personal use.
Crop and/or resize the image for use as an avatar, header, video thumbnail, etc.
Use the artwork as reference for a study.
You, the customer, are NOT allowed to:
Use the commissioned piece in any technology related to NFTs, cryptocurrency, or AI.
Claim the artwork as yours.
Remove my watermark/signature.
Paint over or otherwise alter the artwork in ways not covered under the allowed uses above.
Color in my sketches or lineart.
Reproduce the work commercially without purchasing the rights from me.
VI - Cancellation & Refund Policy
No refunds will be made after the piece is finished.
You may cancel the commission at any time, after which I will issue a refund equivalent to the amount of work not done.
I reserve the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time.
You may not file a chargeback against me after you have given approval of the artwork.
